Why I built mixaphone.
I got tired of bouncing my mix just to hear it on my phone.
Every producer does it. The mix sounds great in the studio, but almost nobody listens there. They listen on a phone. So you bounce the track, send it over, wait for it to sync, and finally hear how it really sounds. Then you go back, fix it, and bounce again.
I did not want a better bounce. I wanted it gone: press play in the DAW and hear it on my phone, live, with my hands still on the faders.
Everything that already did this was either built for network engineers or priced like studio hardware. So I built the simple, cheap one. One plug-in on your master bus, one app on your phone, same wi-fi. $14.
It does one thing. That is on purpose.
