What the app collects
Nothing. mixaphone captures audio locally inside your DAW and sends it over your local Wi-Fi network to your phone. The audio packets never touch our servers, never touch any third-party server, never leave your home / studio network. We have no way to listen in even if we wanted to.
The phone apps don't collect analytics. They don't have an account system. They don't send crash reports anywhere unless iOS / Android's system-level crash reporting is enabled by you in your phone's settings.
What the website collects
Anonymous aggregate traffic data via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies. No personal data. No cross-site tracking. Cloudflare sees the same IP your browser would send to any server; they don't link it to a person, and neither do we.
That's the only analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no anything. The DevTools Network tab is the proof - have a look.
License validation
When you buy mixaphone, the checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy. They are the merchant of record and they handle your billing data per their privacy policy. We see the order ID, the buyer's email, and the country (for tax purposes). We don't see card numbers.
The plug-in itself contacts Lemon Squeezy's license server occasionally to re-validate your license. That request includes your license key and a machine fingerprint. It does not include your audio, your DAW project, your IP-as-identity, or anything beyond what's needed to confirm the license is valid.
Cookies
We don't set cookies. There's no banner because there's nothing to consent to.
Third parties
The minimum required to ship a product:

support@humpbackaudio.comto a private inbox. - Lemon Squeezy processes payments and issues license keys.
- Apple and Google distribute the iOS and Android apps via their stores and receive whatever their developer terms require.
Your rights
If you have a purchase under your email, you can ask us to delete the order record we keep. Email support@humpbackaudio.com and we'll do it within 30 days. Note that deleting the order also deactivates the license - we can't validate something we don't know about.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what data is collected, this page will be updated and the change will be called out in the next release notes. The date at the top of this page reflects the last meaningful change.
